i can’t stand today :( i just woke up wrong and i feel crappy, attitude and body wise. i’m not hungry and i don’t want to touch real food, but i want comfort. i want comfort so bad and there is nowhere i can get it but food. unfortunately, the food i eat everyday doesn’t provide anything but nutrition. i know it is bad and wrong but i don’t even want to avoid a binge. i feel like welcoming it. i want to cry about nothing while eating and eating and eating. 

the fact that i even want this makes me disgusted with myself. haven’t eaten today but i can’t bring myself to touch anything. back to homework and water.

I need ideas.  Mine is salsa with thin slices of cucumber as my “chips.”  Mmmm…

half a cup of low fat cottage cheese (100 cal) either with tomatoes. or, for more of a meal, with tomatoes AND on top of a bed of spinach. mix it all together with a few red onions and salt/pepper to taste. what i would (and do) eat every day with half a sandwich.

15 pounds in three weeks is not bad, but considering 5 or more of those are from losing water weight, i was expecting more. it’s fine, though; i’m not hungry, suffering from cravings, or miserable. i feel great and i’m saving money. i will be starting exercise this week, although you’d be shocked at how out of shape i am. most of what i’ll be doing is stretching and dancing to silly songs. i’m going to try do 15 minutes a day (with rests, probably) and next week see what happens.

i plan on eating all my daily calories this week so i’ll skip my midweek treat. i kind of want to hold off on the exercise to see if that makes any difference - although it shouldn’t, since the number of calories stay the same - but i know i need to get more physically active. i have energy from all the good food i’m eating, but i’m in the habit of not using it. i hope everyone is healthy and happy :)

i forgot to mention, i’ve gone a week without a binge!! a huge deal for me since i’m so weak when it comes to fast food. i have been eating a little low (about 1350 cals per day when my goal is 1544) but i’ll be making that up tomorrow.

hi! so since my last depressing, boohooey post, i’ve still been staying on track and just enjoying what i eat. i don’t actually do much else; i don’t really leave the house since i’m scared of people laughing at me, i have no job, no one to visit, etc. so i don’t have some of the challenges that others face when it comes to making healthy choices and resisting temptation. as my weight goes down i hope to have more experiences in general to blog about. for now i’ll bore you with my dinner routine.

so i’ve perfected my usual dinner! in a small skillet, i throw in my 4 oz of chicken, 3/4 cup of brown rice, and a handful of mixed veggies. i add some chopped onion and either put in a little water and let it steam everything hot (it’s all precooked) or i add a tablespoon of teriyaki sauce and let it heat up in that. afterwards i drizzle with a little soy sauce mixed with garlic, and i’m telling you - it’s like i eat chinese food every night! and this one bowl fills me up really well, for about 300-400 calories. sometimes i have to replace water with a little olive oil because i need more fat in my diet (unintentionally averaging at 25-30g a day) and i’ve found fat adds to the fullness factor. this is such a simple thing but it makes eating healthier so much easier. of course with soy sauce you’re going to watch the sodium.

how can i complain? almost 3 pounds without exercising is really good. i guess i just expected the number to be higher because although i binged, i kept my daily average at around 1500. i’ve been on my period for two and a half weeks so i’m about to shoot myself, and that might be affecting my weight.

i’ve been bummed all week because even if i magically lose 2 pounds a week, it will still take 3 years to reach my ultimate goal, a healthy weight.
